About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Baker and Packager Associate to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our wholesale operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient preparation and packaging of fresh baked goods for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Package Fresh Baked Goods: Operate baking equipment, follow recipes and make-up instructions, and ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  • Manage Inventory and Merchandise: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure proper storage and labeling of merchandise, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet and assist members, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other associates to achieve team goals, communicate with team members, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure a clean, neat, and member-ready area, and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and members.
  • Ability to Lift and Move Merchandise: Must be able to lift and move merchandise, up to 50 pounds, as needed.
