Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transplant QAPI Coordinator to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in our transplant programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough knowledge of all UNOS and CMS regulations, providing ongoing guidance, updates, and education to our team.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current administrative and clinical systems and processes to determine adequacy, designing annual compliance plans that incorporate new or developing practices and regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Develop data definitions, elements, metrics, queries, and reports, overseeing data monitoring and reporting, and conducting analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Safeguard the quality of care and the integrity of our program, facilitating quarterly QAPI meetings and tracking follow-up items, subcommittee work, and schedules.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and support to our team, promoting a culture of quality and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse (BSN preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 1-3 years of healthcare management and leadership experience, including quality assurance background
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, LANs, and database utilization; ability to perform advanced analysis of information; strong organizational skills
