Position Overview:

As a Mobile Fuel Technician Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients maintain compliance at their fuel sites. Our technicians are essential in mitigating the risks associated with fuel dispensing, which include the potential for financial loss and reputational damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct precise meter calibrations for retail petroleum customers to guarantee accurate fuel measurement and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on fueling systems.
  • Assist in the setup of equipment and preparation of sites.
  • Operate a company vehicle (CDL not required).

Travel Requirements:
Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of Lavonia, GA, and be prepared for extensive travel across multiple states, which may involve being away from home for extended periods. Accommodations, including hotels and a generous per diem, will be provided.

Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly wage starting at $17.00, with opportunities for overtime paid at time and a half (approximately $25.00/hour).
  • Daily per diem of $50.00, included directly in your weekly paycheck and not subject to taxation.
  • Potential for career advancement to a foreman position with increased hourly pay.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a mechanical background, familiarity with hand tools, and experience in industrial or commercial environments. Candidates must also:
  • Be physically capable of lifting 10-50 lbs, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Demonstrate independent work skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Possess basic technological proficiency for documentation purposes.
  • Pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screening, along with maintaining a clean driving record.
