Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Tampa JCC/Federation Inc. in Tampa, Florida. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a relaxed yet multi-tasking environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to relate positively to residents and families, and be a team player. You will be responsible for administering medications, taking vital signs, and providing basic wound care. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and supervise other staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Take vital signs and record health concerns
  • Provide basic wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
  • Immunize residents as needed
  • Take medical histories and provide licensed nursing services to residents
  • Supervise other staff members and ensure the safety and comfort of residents
Requirements
  • Must be a Licensed LPN in good standing in the state of Florida
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively
  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 criminal background check and drug test
