A-Line Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing direct patient care and performing various medical procedures. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week, with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
  • Assess patients during intake and take vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
  • Perform Point of Care Testing, including COVID testing.
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
