About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Advocate to join our team at Family & Children's Place. As a Family Advocate, you will play a critical role in providing case management services to children and families who have experienced trauma and abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management services to children and families, including crisis intervention and information referral.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the needs of children and families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including law enforcement, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Provide education and support to children and families on topics such as trauma, abuse, and healthy relationships.
  • Document all interactions with children and families, including case notes and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of case management experience or 2 years of experience in human services or criminal justice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children and families.

We offer a competitive salary of $22/hour, a sign-on bonus of $300, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 403(b) plan. We also offer paid time off, vacation time, paid sick time, and up to 10 paid holidays.
