Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our development services team by reviewing and approving encroachment permits, preparing GIS maps, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve encroachment permits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Prepare and distribute GIS maps and record drawings to company customers.
  • Intake, review, and process workflow for access permits and upload to SharePoint.
  • Answer customer phone calls and return voicemails regarding development services and plan check issues.
  • Provide assistance with septic tank conversion inquiries and answer a variety of customer inquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience in civil engineering with a strong understanding of construction principles.
  • Ability to review plans, upload files, and answer customer calls as needed.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
