Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Optime Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Optime and anesthesia management, with a strong background in outpatient surgery and procedures. They will be responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Optime system, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to optimize system performance.

Responsibilities:

Optime System Support:
Provide technical support and maintenance for the Optime system, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Procedure Suite Optimization:
Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to understand workflow requirements and optimize the use of Optime within the procedure suite. Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Documentation and Training:
Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, to support end-users in utilizing Optime effectively. Conduct training sessions for staff members to ensure proficiency in system usage.

System Configuration and Enhancement:
Assist in the configuration and enhancement of the Optime system to meet evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the Clinical Applications leadership team and external partners to implement system changes and updates.

Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical operations, and external vendors, to address complex issues and drive resolution. Serve as a subject matter expert on Optime-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed.

Quality Assurance and Testing:
Participate in quality assurance activities, including system testing and validation, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Optime functionality. Coordinate with end-users to conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for system improvements.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Optime and anesthesia management. Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement, recommending and implementing enhancements as appropriate.

Ad Hoc Projects:

Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Clinical Applications leadership team, contributing expertise in Optime and procedural workflows to achieve project objectives effectively and efficiently.


Requirements:
A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a related area is preferred. Application implementation experience using diversified application lines of information systems is preferred. Experience providing support, training, and/or implementation support for complex projects that require coordination of resource and project planning is strongly desired. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems is highly desired. Experience with project and cross-functional team coordination, in highly complex, diverse environments. Experience with application testing methods and practices. Knowledge of software implementation and training programs and experience as a business analyst and/or trainer is desired. Experience communicating up, down, and across the organization to both IS and Operational leaders and customers. Experience working in a matrix environment, with a matrix reporting relationship is highly desired.

Certifications:
Optime Certification
Outpatient surgery/procedure experience

Type of Project:
This role will involve contributing to the ongoing development of service lines under the Clinical Applications leadership team.

While there may be limited actual build work, the incumbent will work closely with external teams to ensure that the implementation aligns with hospital requirements.


Duration of Engagement:
Contract-hire with a target duration of 6 months. Exceptional candidates may be considered for direct hire.
