Position Overview:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) collaborates with a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide both direct and indirect patient care, as well as execute designated procedures and treatments within the LVN's professional scope. Adherence to established protocols and guidelines is essential, with a strong emphasis on customer service, patient safety, and professionalism. The LVN is expected to foster a positive work atmosphere and work effectively with a diverse team.

  • Education and Experience:
  • Completion of a Vocational Nursing program
  • At least six months of LVN experience
  • Preferred: One year of clinical experience in a specialized area
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Competent in basic mathematics and computer skills
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills
  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current California LVN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • California IV certification is preferred
