Criminal Intelligence Specialist

The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Vermont Intelligence Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and authoring intelligence products on crime and homeland security topics.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with law enforcement agencies, elected officials, and other stakeholders to provide critical information and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis on crime and homeland security topics
- Author intelligence products, including reports and briefings
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and threats
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or higher in criminal justice, data analysis, public administration, or a related field
- Three years or more of experience in law enforcement, records case management, public safety systems, or public safety research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
- Proficiency with analytical software
