Criminal Intelligence Analyst

The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Vermont Intelligence Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, supporting criminal cases, collecting and analyzing information, and authoring intelligence products on crime and homeland security topics.

• Conduct research and analysis on crime and homeland security topics
• Support criminal cases and investigations
• Collect and analyze information from various sources
• Author intelligence products and briefings
• Present findings to law enforcement, elected officials, and other stakeholders

• Associate's degree or higher in criminal justice, data analysis, public administration, or related field
• Three years or more of experience in law enforcement, records case management, public safety systems, or public safety research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
• Proficiency with analytical software
• Ability to pass a department-conducted background check and federal secret clearance
