Pipette Service Specialist

Mettler Toledo Rainin is seeking a dedicated Pipette Service Specialist to join our Service Depot team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, cleaning, repairing, reassembling, and calibrating pipettes to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing mechanical and electronic assessments, documenting findings, and evaluating serviced pipettes against defined quality and performance benchmarks.
- Reassembling and calibrating pipettes to adhere to manufacturer specifications, ensuring all repair activities comply with necessary protocols.
- Managing order priorities and facilitating their processing through our database system, adhering to specific customer requests.
- Striving to meet our service commitments and turnaround times, which may require occasional overtime.
- Completing all necessary reports and entering data into our automated systems.
Qualifications for Success:
- A high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of three months of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging.
- Prior experience or knowledge of pipettes is advantageous.
- A solid mechanical foundation.
