About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at UKG, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based services. You will be responsible for developing software solutions to enhance, harden, and support our service delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure
  • Develop automated testing and monitoring tools to ensure service reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve service issues
  • Implement best practices for service delivery, metrics, and automation
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based applications and containerization technologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices in metric generation and collection, log aggregation pipelines, time-series databases, and distributed tracing
  • Fundamentals in computer science, cloud architecture, security, or network design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with industry standards like Terraform, Ansible
  • Working experience with Grafana, DataDog, and/or Splunk
  • GCP experience
