Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. in Minneapolis, MN or Atlanta, GA. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  • Implement automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce toil.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of our systems.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting production systems on a DevOps team.
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting using AWS Cloud.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS Native components, CloudWatch, and Dynatrace.
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as JavaScript, Nodejs, Python, Maven, Ansible, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with API integration projects.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and Microservices.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
