Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of intricate Land Development initiatives:
Accountable for the entire project lifecycle, from assessing opportunities and crafting proposals to ensuring that both technical and financial performance objectives are met.
Fostering relationships with both new and existing clients in the Real Estate market:
Acting as the primary liaison for key Land Development clients; managing and nurturing client relationships for the firm.
Collaborating with the Department Manager to cultivate a distinguished team focused on Land Development:
Supervising and mentoring staff, both as direct reports and within the broader Department; offering guidance on career progression and technical expertise.
Coordinating with other leaders in the Department to plan staff resource allocation and project assignments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
A minimum of 12 years of design experience, particularly in site development projects and related entitlements and permitting.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across various teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong client management capabilities along with the ability to nurture existing client relationships.
Solid understanding of tracking and assessing project financial metrics to ensure projects remain within budget.
Experience in successfully managing and leading teams of professionals on land development projects.
Ability to train and mentor junior staff while providing career coaching.
Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to site development design.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
