We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Department Operations Coordinator to join our team at Towson University. About the Role
The Senior Department Operations Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, including managing operations, coordinating events, and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can think critically and creatively to solve problems and find innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day departmental operations, including scheduling, budgets, and inventory.
- Coordinate events, meetings, and appointments for faculty and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of three years' experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an academic setting.
- An associate's degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
