As an Echocardiogram Specialist at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. You will be responsible for performing echocardiogram exams, including general echo, TEE, pediatric echo, stress echo, and contrast echoes. You will also assist cardiologists with echo-guided pericardiocentesis and other studies. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with ancillary areas and internal staff. You will be able to evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities in high-pressure situations. Additionally, you will provide professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics, following hospital and departmental policies and standards. You will also be responsible for documenting technical findings and preliminary observations within the scope of practice. This role requires a minimum of basic understanding of general echocardiography and RDCS registration from ARDMS. You will be required to take night and weekend call for a minimum basis to assist in the training of echo technologists or students in the advancement of research and general echocardiography. Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiogram exams, including general echo, TEE, pediatric echo, stress echo, and contrast echoes. • Assist cardiologists with echo-guided pericardiocentesis and other studies. • Provide professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics, following hospital and departmental policies and standards. • Document technical findings and preliminary observations within the scope of practice. • Collaborate with ancillary areas and internal staff to ensure effective communication and coordination. • Take night and weekend call for a minimum basis to assist in the training of echo technologists or students. Qualifications:
• RDCS registration from ARDMS. • Minimum of basic understanding of general echocardiography. • BLS certificate (American Heart). What We Offer:
