We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to support the Chief Digital Artificial Intelligence Office's (CDAO) contribution in the DoD's integrated biosurveillance (IB) program.

IB is a critical component of biodefense, requiring intelligence collection, analytic capabilities, and information sharing. The successful candidate will leverage Advana's data, analytics, AI, and automation capabilities in collaboration with ongoing efforts supported by multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems across different organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess software development or data acquisition requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.
  • Support and work with a hybrid team of analysts, engineers, and developers to conduct research, build, and deploy complex analytical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, UX designers, cognitive scientists, developers, and testers to compose cohesive and sound designs that form the basis of scalable solutions.
  • Optimize software designs and architectures to deliver desired performance targets and devise tooling and methodologies to profile execution and capture performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years' experience, or a Master's Degree plus 5 years of experience.
  • Significant experience in one or more scripting languages such as Python or R, proficient in one or more big data programming languages, such as Python or Java.
  • AI/ML model development, containerization, and productization experience.
  • Knowledge Graph construction and reasoning experience, to include experience with property graph or RDF model frameworks.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and related indexing technologies.
  • Previous experience performing research in Data Analytics or Big Data.
  • A significant share of your data analytics experience in direct support of military or intelligence community customers, demonstrating progressive technical development and mission-focused outcomes.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
