Are you ready to take your career to the next level as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Leidos? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work closely with our team of Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations Engineering/Manager to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for providing software engineering support to portfolio projects, developing visually appealing front-end website architectures, and designing user interactions on web pages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing software engineering support to portfolio projects
  • Developing front-end website architectures and designing user interactions
  • Designing RESTful services and APIs
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in web applications and programming languages
  • Strategizing organizational direction on emerging technology platforms and communicating the effectiveness to executive stakeholders
  • Ensuring non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline with at least 8 years of applicable experience
  • TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
  • Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript ES6, and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors including Sass and LESS
  • Strong knowledge of React and a working knowledge of Elasticsearch
  • Experience working with languages such as Java and Python
  • Experience in API Design and development
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures and container orchestration
  • Collaboration experience with information analytics research teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with microservice architectures
  • Experience extending prototypes to production
