Senior Principal Systems Engineer for Prognostics and Health Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our Prognostics and Health Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze flight and sensor logs to identify anomalies and develop predictive models to prevent failures
- Develop and implement Built-In-Test (BIT) analysis and timeline analyses to improve fault detection and isolation
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to improve Built-In-Test (BIT) Fault Detection, Fault Isolation and BIT False Alarm performance metrics
- Develop and maintain predictive models of physical degradation, failures, and data-driven prognostics algorithms to assess the health and performance of critical components
- Formulate health monitoring strategies to detect anomalies/outliers in real flight data
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field with 8 years of experience; OR Master's degree in a STEM field with 6 years of experience; OR PhD in a STEM field with 3 years of experience
- Experience in Health Management, Prognostics, Diagnostics, and/or Reliability & Maintainability Engineering disciplines
- Strong background in data analysis, probability, statistics, signal processing, and predictive modeling
- Experience with anomaly/outlier detection in time series data
- Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance
- Strong programming skills in Python and its numerical and data libraries
- Experience with big data tools and data architectures
- Familiarity with fault detection and diagnosis methods and reliability analysis
- Experience with MLOps and building machine learning pipelines
