Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health Management, Prognostics, and Diagnostics, with a focus on developing Prognostic Health Management (PHM) and Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze flight and sensor logs to identify anomalous behavior and root cause
  • Develop and decompose requirements for integrated systems
  • Design and implement Prognostic and Diagnostic Algorithms
  • Perform Built in Test (BIT) analysis and timeline analyses
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to improve BIT performance metrics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant STEM discipline with 8 years of experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field with 6 years of experience; OR a STEM PhD with 3 years of experience
  • Strong background in data analysis, probability, statistics, signal processing, and predictive modeling
  • Experience with anomaly/outlier detection in time series data
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills in Python and its numerical and data libraries
  • Experience with big data tools and visualization tools
  • Familiarity with fault detection and diagnosis methods and reliability analysis
