Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver periodontal and preventive oral care services.
- Perform oral prophylactic procedures, root planing, curettage with local anesthesia, and oral debridement.
- Assist dentists in conducting comprehensive oral examinations, including gathering current patient medical histories, evaluating periodontal health, and taking necessary radiographs.
- Administer preventive pit and fissure sealants as directed by a dentist.
- Provide fluoride treatments as instructed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program and possession of a valid dental hygiene license.
- A genuine desire to contribute positively to patient care.
