About the Job

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Clinical Director to lead our Admission Transition Unit at the New Brunswick campus.

Job Overview

This role involves facilitating safe and effective unit operations, including interviewing and hiring staff, managing preceptor-orientee relationships, and contributing to the professional growth and development of employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview and hire unlicensed personnel
  • Collaborate with Nursing Director to interview and hire licensed personnel
  • Facilitate orientation process for new employees
  • Contribute to employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • 1-3 years of relative clinical practice experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Proficient computer skills

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $ $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position requires a night shift, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with some weekend commitment and holiday rotation.
