Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and drive commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as hydraulic excavators, front-end loaders, and skid-steer loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Drive commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Assist in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and work areas.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of experience in environmental, construction, or contracting type work preferred.
  • OSHA 40 hours training preferred.
  • Proficient operation of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation required.
  • Must be safety conscious and have good work ethics.
Work Environment:

The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a variety of environments, including industrial settings, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders in heights of up to 200 feet, and work in extreme temperatures.

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Signing the Nondisclosure and Noncompete Agreement.
  • Negative drug screen as directed under A-C-T's Drug Free Workplace Policy.
  • Eligibility to drive under A-C-T's auto insurance policy.
