Key Responsibilities:
- Install components according to specifications using various hand and power tools.
- Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions, and other written or verbal directives.
- Adhere to visual and written work instructions to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards consistently.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained, including daily cleaning, and comply with safety regulations.
- Support additional projects and perform other assigned duties.
- Prior experience as an assembler or general laborer in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools is required.
- Ability to read blueprints is advantageous.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Regular and punctual attendance is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to follow established standard operating procedures while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of shipping applications (UPS, FedEx) is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including sitting, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance practices, including the use of calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and accurately measure product dimensions.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, and reach with arms; and demonstrate dexterity with hands and fingers for tasks such as operating a computer keyboard.
Work Environment:
Office and factory shop floor settings.
