Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of approximately members, establishing meaningful and measurable goals and communicating effectively with your team to ensure alignment with the department and center.
- Conduct formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions with team members, leading by example and adhering to our Values and Behaviors.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems, providing independent health checks by evaluating program metrics.
- Interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, CPT/Directorate Leads, and other functional management to drive results and achieve program and business unit objectives.
- Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals and lead the onboarding of new section personnel.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading efforts as an IPTL, sub-IPTL, CAM, REA, or project team lead.
- Experience in a technical leadership role, with a working understanding of the One Page Process.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required, with U.S. citizenship being a requirement.
- Previous experience with career development and personal skills development of team members.
- Experience developing test equipment for production test environments.
- Previous work experience developing artifacts as an electrical, software, mechanical, systems, or configurable logic engineer.
- Experience working with TESA, testability, and cybersecurity.
- Experience working in Agile development processes.
- Experience working with program configuration management principles and tools such as IMS, PMX tools, or tracking books.
- Past engineering experience working in a matrix organization comprised of multidiscipline design teams across multiple projects with rigorous design disciplines.
- Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) or similar budget tracking systems.
- Knowledge of the Performance Development Process.
- Experience with our Proposal Capture Process (development of compliant Basis of Estimates and White Sheet Development).
- Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) System.
- Knowledge of business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of the whole lifecycle process from requirements development to maintenance and sustainment.
