Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team at Emerald City Emergency Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care and exceptional service to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional medical care and support to veterinarians and other healthcare team members.
  • Assist with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Collect and maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Perform laboratory tests and update patient medical charts.
  • Educate clients on pet health needs, nutrition, and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from a two-year veterinary technology program with accreditation from the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA).
  • State-recognized veterinary technician certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) with credentials in good standing.
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary hospital practices and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
