Veterinary Care Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at North Seattle Veterinary Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our doctors and veterinary technicians to provide exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with exams and procedures, taking patient histories and vital signs
- Transcribe doctor notes and review estimates and medication instructions with clients
- Help with filling prescriptions, obtaining and running lab samples, and restraining for procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing skills and computer knowledge
- Customer service experience and ability to work with animals
- Veterinary Assistant Certification or 1+ years experience in an Assistant position
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/be on foot for long periods
