Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Executive to lead our national energy retrofit projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead executive-level project leadership on multimillion-dollar, multi-location national energy retrofit projects.
  • Oversight of ongoing project development, project delivery, measurement/verification, and other post-sale activities.
  • Determine resource levels to attain schedule milestones and monitor workforce levels to ensure conformance with the construction plan.
  • Hire, retain, and manage on-site work staff in compliance with contract deliverables, budget, and timeline.
  • Control change/scope creep, ensuring all scope changes are quickly and properly documented, and change orders are approved prior to/in conjunction with the performance of work.
  • Implement site safety and security procedures and project work rules, and play an active role in the development of the safety program.
  • Develop and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction for the duration of the project and operate effectively in a matrix management environment.
  • Work in conjunction with Area Team Management, National Operations, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of construction management experience.
  • Project size in excess of $40M.
  • Responsible for complex, large-scale projects, working in a multi-stakeholder environment where effectiveness is measured by using influence and knowledge as opposed to direct organizational authority.
  • Competent in business development, project development, and construction management.
  • Knowledge of implications of project audit.
  • Develop strategic relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proficient in software scheduling tools and applications.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships at all levels through project phases.
  • Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties.
  • Evaluate technologies and equipment, recommending the most suitable solution or application.
  • Display advanced knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents.
  • Provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, etc.
  • Manage critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be an advocate for the customer, using a strategic and long-term approach.
  • Responsible for internal staffing and reporting on the project.
