Project Manager

Job Summary:

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead water and wastewater pipeline projects in our Southwest Regional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects from planning to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from planning to construction, providing engineering expertise on all aspects of medium to large diameter water and wastewater pipeline projects.
  • Identify and develop new pursuits, manage plan preparation and specifications, project staffing, and coordinate with subconsultants.
  • Maintain quality control, coordinate activities related to planning, design, and construction, and mentor project staff.
  • Support sales in collaboration with business development teams and coordinate with in-house multi-discipline design teams and specialized sub-consultants.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a similar engineering field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing similar water/wastewater pipeline projects.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks offices.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients.
  • Experience supporting business development.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
