About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Director to lead our Service Department in achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Management: Plan and coordinate schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation and efficient workflow.
  • Team Leadership: Directly supervise and mentor Service Department employees to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Customer Service: Foster excellent relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards by implementing and maintaining rigorous inspection processes.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform data-driven decisions and drive business growth.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with vendors to secure favorable pricing and services.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, control costs, and optimize stock levels to meet business needs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to management on departmental performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements

To succeed as our Automotive Service Director, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in automotive service management, preferably in a high-volume facility.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid holidays and personal time off (PTO).
