Systems Engineering Model Specialist

DCS Corp is seeking a Systems Engineering Model Specialist to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate Aerospace Management Systems Division (AFLCMC/HBA). This division is responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of advanced air traffic management systems, CNS/ATM avionics, and weather sensing capabilities for military and allied customers.
The selected candidate will offer Systems Modeling expertise, applying extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of systems engineering throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
This is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing Cameo Enterprise Architect to develop SysML diagrams that encapsulate mission threads, requirements, and architectural data.
- Creating templates to facilitate the collection of information essential for populating SysML models.
- Establishing model structures, taxonomies, and other relevant attributes, leveraging frameworks such as the DoD Architecture Framework and Unified Architecture Framework.
- Collaborating with program office teams to ensure seamless integration into the digital ecosystem.
- Translating SysML models from various applications into Cameo Enterprise Architect.
- Ensuring traceability between data in Cameo and Enovia, utilizing appropriate middleware as necessary.
- Engaging with the PMO, end-user community, and key stakeholders to communicate project findings and updates.
- Contributing to the creation, review, and refinement of acquisition program documentation, including requirements, program plans, and system models.
Required Qualifications:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
A High School Diploma with 7 years of relevant experience, including 5 years within the DoD, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 3 years of experience, including 3 years in the DoD.
Possession of an active Secret security clearance.
Proficiency in SysML model development.
Desirable: OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional Model Builder – Intermediate certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline.
Graduation from an ABET-accredited program.
Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architect is highly preferred.
Familiarity with other Dassault software, including 3DExperience, Enovia, and Catia, is also desirable.
