Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Control Program Management: Plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Site Observations and Inspections: Conduct daily site observations and inspect all work, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Submittal Coordination: Manage submittal coordination and process with assistance from other project team members.
  • Testing and Inspections: Coordinate and ensure that all on-site and off-site testing and inspections are performed in accordance with contract documents.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports of quality control activities, including submittals, test results, and inspection reports.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and lead project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Exercise judgment and authority to resolve quality control issues and ensure that all work is performed in a skillful, safe, and workmanlike manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience: Five or more years of combined experience in commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer, with two years' experience as a QC Manager.
  • Skills: Knowledge of project plans, specifications, shop drawings, samples, and models; practical application of engineering science and technology; principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; building and construction materials, methods, terminology, phases, documentation, and tools involved in construction, repair, or remodeling of buildings and other structures.
  • Certifications: Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.
  • Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.
