As a Roll Off Driver at Waste Pro, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste. This position requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Container Management: Secure containers by attaching the hook to the container and use control levers to pull the container up onto the bed of the truck.
  • Strap and Tarp Management: Secure straps and hand-tarp individual containers as necessary to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle to efficiently collect and transport waste.
  • Inspections: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean truck and wash the exterior weekly to ensure a professional appearance and prevent damage.

Requirements:

  • CDL License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient waste collection.
