About The Team

The Finance team is dedicated to enhancing efficiency while supporting our organization and business partners. About The Role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Accounting, the Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting will oversee a team of 3-4 accountants, collectively managing a substantial segment of the month-end closing process, reconciliation reviews, and internal control assessments.

This role will also assist the VP Corporate Controller in preparing quarterly and annual reports submitted to regulatory bodies.

While extensive experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting is not mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn complex accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, financial analyses, trial balance reviews, and financial statement preparations.
  • Manage and support direct reports across various workstreams, including Prepaid & Accrued expenses, Revenue Sales Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Cash Flow analysis, and other critical areas as needed.
  • Conduct reconciliations and analyses of general ledger activities through detailed flux analyses, ensuring timely and accurate completion of these evaluations.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of account reconciliations and improve deliverables related to month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
  • Collaborate directly with external audit firms on audit inquiries and requests.
  • Assist in developing key accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure proper controls.
  • Support the preparation of SEC footnotes and disclosures through meticulous review and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Foster the growth and development of the team by providing hands-on support to enhance individual capabilities.

Compensation Overview

Base Salary Range:
$110,000 – $140,000
Includes Annual Bonus Program, Equity, 401(k) Profit Sharing, and comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision benefits.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPA
  • 8+ years of combined experience in private industry and public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of current US GAAP
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions and levels within an organization
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and operating with urgency
  • Adept at quickly prioritizing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
