Position: IT Infrastructure Manager (W2 Only)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Compensation: $50 - $59.75/hour (Dependent on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a candidate with exceptional leadership and management capabilities, experienced in overseeing the implementation of IT infrastructure, including:
- Wired and wireless networks
- Telephony systems
- A/V solutions
- Cabling infrastructure
- Cellular networks
The ideal candidate will thrive in a complex and evolving environment, demonstrating the ability to integrate seamlessly with various teams and contribute positively as a team player.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five years of experience managing extensive and complex projects, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting.
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including scope, time, cost, quality, and risk management.
- Ability to balance stakeholder expectations with project realities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building and problem-solving.
- Deep technical knowledge necessary for successful project delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management tools and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans with a clear work breakdown structure (WBS).
- Proven track record in managing people, change, risk, and conflict.
- Ability to motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results in a collaborative environment.
- Leadership skills to guide both internal and external technical and business teams.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office tools, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, Zoom, and Slack.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Student and HR Administration.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing practices.
- Understanding of web application architecture and integration across technical platforms.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or completion of a Project Management Certificate program.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is preferred.
- ITIL Certification is desirable.
