We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certification Worker to join our team at the Oregon Department of Human Services. As a Certification Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of Oregon's most vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with diverse individuals and families, building strong relationships and providing emotional support.
- Recruit, assess, and support resource families, including adoptive, kinship, and resource families.
- Match children with caring homes, ensuring each youth's unique needs are met.
- Conduct thorough home studies, reviewing applications and interviewing applicants.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain successful placements and provide ongoing support.
- A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OneNote.
