- Operate overhead hoists and mechanical devices to position and secure workpieces.
- Secure material together using rivet guns, drills, and screws to ensure strong and durable assemblies.
- Install hoses, wiring harnesses, and electronic components into dashboards and consoles.
- Mark or tag material with proper identifiers and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in daily morning meetings, assist with incident investigations, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all internal processes and procedures, including incident reporting and quality control.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to manually move product and materials through regular physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Must work at a reasonable pace within quality and production standards to completion of tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and previous use of basic hand and power tools.
- Manufacturing, production, machinist, or assembly experience.
- Demonstrated dependability in previous employment.
