Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Support Specialist II plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of products manufactured by Intricon. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure they meet internal and external requirements. The role also involves partnering with Operations to ensure products meet customer expectations and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or defects to the relevant teams.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure products meet customer expectations and are delivered on time.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality records and ensure they meet QMS requirements.
• Train production personnel on workmanship standards, inspection techniques, and SPC.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of inspection experience or two years of experience with applicable product lines preferred.
• Experience using measuring devices and reading blueprints/drawings required.
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control and good math aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:
The Quality Support Specialist II will work in a manufacturing environment and will be required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and inspecting products.
