Job Summary:

The IT Help Desk Technician role at KFI Engineers, P.C. involves providing technical expertise and support to end-users, management, project teams, and clients. This position requires a strong understanding of computer technology, systems, and applications, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist end-users with PC support, printing issues, and Microsoft Office suite-related problems.
  • Work with management and project teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist with Break/Fix/Replacement, imaging computers, installing software, and asset tagging/inventory activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of user support experience, including help desk or deskside support.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and knowledge of computer technology/systems and specific areas of application.
  • Proficiency in basic PC troubleshooting, printer issues, Office Suite, VPN, Windows OS, imaging computers, and Autodesk products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Represent KFI in a professional manner and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and minimal travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Intune.
  • Experience in remote desktop support (TeamViewer), Active Directory user administration/setup, and video conferencing support.
  • Knowledge of engineering software is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
