Job Summary

Chenega Corporation is seeking a qualified Physician to provide medical services as a Fee Basis Provider (FBP) for government programs.

The ideal candidate will have a current unrestricted medical license, completed a residency, and possess computer skills necessary to access and update electronic applicant medical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, and reviews of required medical tests and documents.
  • Assess applicant medical documentation and render medical opinions on applicant medical history for government programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Physician (MD/DO) with a current unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory.
  • Completed a residency or provided direct patient care within the last three years.
  • Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
