Job Title: International Tax Manager

At Walmart, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our International Tax team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing tax strategies that support our global business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of international tax returns, forms, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax planning and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the team on their impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of tax-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area.
  • Strong understanding of international tax concepts and ability to apply knowledge to various situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in complex areas.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering strong customer partnerships.
