Job Title: Registered Nurse - Postpartum

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at The Arora Group. As a Registered Nurse - Postpartum, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to postpartum patients, including those with high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to care, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain excellent patient assessment skills and use the nursing process as a basis for professional practice.
  • Perform/assist with clinic-specific procedures, in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor specialized medical equipment, such as IV infusion pumps and cardiac monitoring devices.
  • Prescribe and communicate treatment plans in accordance with established Labor and Delivery protocols.
  • Provide education to patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
  • Assess patient readiness for rooming-in, transfer to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or discharge.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including IV push drugs and IV drips specific to pregnancy, labor, and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.
  • Monitor and document patient response to treatment.
Qualifications:
  • A graduate of a National League of Nursing (NLN) approved program in Registered Nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
  • Valid, unrestricted RN license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years of experience caring for high-risk obstetrical patients.
