Patient Care Technician - Medical Unit
Shift: Day - Casual / On Call
As a Patient Care Technician on the medical unit, you will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team in an acute care setting, providing support to patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory and cardiac issues, liver and renal diseases, substance dependencies, and mental health challenges. Our unit is dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for all patients and staff, emphasizing respect, integrity, and compassion.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience is required (EMT or CRT experience may be acceptable).
- BLS CPR certification is necessary: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
