- Certification: Loss Prevention certification is mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Travel: Regional travel required, typically less than 10% of the time.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Job Duties
- Identify and apprehend shoplifters utilizing standard surveillance techniques and CCTV technology.
- Employ CCTV systems to generate video documentation of incidents as requested by law enforcement and internal teams.
- Diagnose and report issues with CCTV equipment, providing solutions as necessary.
- Support the loss prevention team in training, scheduling, hiring, and evaluating store detectives.
- Provide testimony in legal proceedings as required by law enforcement or judicial representatives.
- Report potential internal integrity concerns to the designated loss prevention representative.
- Engage effectively with customers and law enforcement personnel.
- Execute additional security and loss prevention tasks to maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.
- Prioritize safety for all team members, customers, and products.
