Role Overview:
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting high-quality imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs.
- Adhering to safe radiation practices and demonstrating leadership as a role model for fellow technologists.
- Acting as a clinical resource for unit personnel and ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring safety for yourself and patients.
- Practice radiation safety principles, minimizing exposure to the lowest levels possible.
- Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear information and addressing their emotional and physical needs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and optimize the use of equipment and resources.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff to support patient care.
- Accurately input charges and data related to procedures and supplies.
- Ensure the technical operation of equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain quality checks and documentation for equipment maintenance.
- Be available for on-call coverage as needed.
- Exhibit effective time management and adaptability to changing circumstances.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), or CNMT registry required, or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred:
- Associate's degree (strongly preferred)
- Bachelor's degree
