Role Overview:
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting high-quality imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs.
  • Adhering to safe radiation practices and demonstrating leadership as a role model for fellow technologists.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for unit personnel and ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring safety for yourself and patients.
  • Practice radiation safety principles, minimizing exposure to the lowest levels possible.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear information and addressing their emotional and physical needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow and optimize the use of equipment and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff to support patient care.
  • Accurately input charges and data related to procedures and supplies.
  • Ensure the technical operation of equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain quality checks and documentation for equipment maintenance.
  • Be available for on-call coverage as needed.
  • Exhibit effective time management and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Qualifications:
Essential:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), or CNMT registry required, or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:
  • Associate's degree (strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree
