Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented leader to join our Banquet Team as an Event Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating memorable experiences and possess a strong background in event management. This role requires a leader who inspires the team while nurturing the growth of emerging talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team that is engaging and approachable to all guests.
  • Utilize creativity to develop themes for events and manage necessary resources.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring all event requirements are met.
  • Oversee the annual budget for Banquet operations in collaboration with property leadership.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain labor costs within budgetary limits and manage payroll effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to the Banquet team.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared and maintained for events.
  • Supervise event setup and staff assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with all service standards and local regulations.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Banquet operations.
  • Food Handlers Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of local liquor regulations.
  • Experience in luxury hotel or full-service resort environments is preferred.
Work Environment:

The role involves working in a climate-controlled indoor environment with occasional outdoor exposure. Physical demands include walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
