Job Title: Senior Wireless Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless Network Engineer to join our team at CIGNEX Inc. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting wireless network infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement wireless network infrastructure for clients, including Cisco ACI Data Center Network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and staff contacts.
  • Optimize network performance and stability, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement new technologies and features to improve network infrastructure.
  • Participate in problem management activities and assist with the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Cross-train other IT staff members in the maintenance and usage of wireless network technologies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on wireless networks and data center infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco ACI Data Center Network.
  • CCNA/CCNP/CCIE certification or equivalent experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of network administration, routing/switching, and engineering in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco network hardware, software, LAN/WAN connectivity, and wireless network fundamentals.
  • Experience with wireless optimizations, including AP placement, signal levels, roaming, spectrum selection, and channel tuning.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
