We are in search of compassionate and driven Registered Nurses with a focus on wound care to lead and integrate a patient-centered approach to skin health.

In this specialized role, you will work closely with nursing center management and staff, as well as clinical leaders, Wound Specialists, and vendors, to effectively engage with patients and their families about skin and wound prevention and management.

Your responsibilities will also include serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinence products, as well as overseeing durable medical equipment related to wound care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound Management program.
• Receive immediate training and support from national wound specialists.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nursing, therapy, and dietitians, to enhance skin and wound care efforts.
• Participate in a bonus program for achieving skin health and pressure injury prevention objectives.
• Benefit from reimbursement for wound certification and annual fees.
• Enjoy a desirable Monday-Friday daytime schedule, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire is required.
• Commitment to attend monthly support calls is essential.
• Nationally accredited wound certification is required or commitment to complete Advanced Wound Training and certification within one year of hire.
• Clinical experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey processes is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, and PowerPoint is required.
