About the Role

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer Sr. to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate software processes and products to ensure conformity to standards, models, and software engineering program-defined processes.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, monitor, measure, and analyze software metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Track and manage nonconformances, software defects, trend analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action activities for the program.
  • Communication: Present software quality assessment of products and processes to the customer and program management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or related field.
  • Skills: Knowledge of quality systems/processes, expertise in external quality standards, software development life cycle models, and configuration management tools.
  • Certifications: ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent.
